Due to this act came existence of Annualcreditreport.com website, which provides free annual credit report to American consumers. This website is jointly owned by three major credit reporting agencies in America namely Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.

On this website you will be asked few personal questions before being redirected to each of these credit bureaus. At these credit bureau website you will be asked few security questions. Upon being validated for your authentication credit bureau will let you save or print your credit report. This is very useful as you can check content of credit report and it gives you deep understanding which factors are pulling or keeping credit score up. Also any wrong entries can be marked and submit to credit bureaus for dispute. Although update of new information does takes some time.
